The project is to be advanced by putting into operation while carrying out construction, and gradually improving infrastructure construction and introducing more investment projects, while enhancing the standardized management system, regulation system, and marketing system of the scenic area simultaneously during this period.
In 2018, the construction of tourism road and its feeder roads in the southern mountainous area of Laiwu District has been completed, thus connecting the main scenic spots in the southern mountainous areas. The said roads run through 21 villages in Gaozhuang Office and Niuquan Town and scenic spots including Houpo, Shangjiazhuang Reservoir, Huanglongguan, Yedian Reservoir, Bijia Mountain, Yuntai Mountain, and Bogelou Reservoir, thus connecting several scenic spots into one, and forming a pattern of "one mountain range connects three mountains" and greatly improving the tourism environment of the southern mountainous area of Laiwu District. Once relevant projects for this Scenic Area are completed, it can drive the surrounding labor employment and increase the local economic income, which has great economic and social benefits. It can bring an estimated annual sales revenue of RMB 200 million and a profit tax of more than RMB 60 million.
