Relying on the peony resource of Heze city, the project covers an area of 20,000 mu, and plans to build a peony-based processing base of Chinese herbal medicine with an area of 10,000 mu, a laboratory of engineering research and a new-variety breeding and identification base of peony covering 500 mu; two new functional food production lines of peony and a new TCM production line will be built; the second-phase construction of Luxi Flower Market will be expanded; the peony export processing area and the standard fresh flower production base of peony will be built; such projects like, comprehensive projects of peony, cultural tourism project of Chinese peony park, etc., will be constructed.
It is estimated that the annual agricultural production income of the area is RMB 250 million, the sales of agricultural processing products is RMB 1.27 billion, and the income of tourism service industry is RMB 980 million, which can provide jobs for 30,000 people, including 1,500 poor people with a per capita income growth of RMB 3,000.
The park is one of the 100 demonstration parks for rural industrial integration supported by China. The project area has been newly incorporated into the guide areas of Urban Master Plan of Heze City(2018-2030), Rural Revitalization Strategic Plan of Mudan District, and the core area of the Peony Agricultural Science and Technology Park, enjoying multiple industrial support policies.
Corresponding preferential policies will be given according to the intensity, scale and output efficiency of the project.
