Located in the Modern Fishery Demonstration Zone of Dongying, Coastal Cultural Tourism Town at the Yellow River Estuary is the core area of the Kenli Provincial Agricultural High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It starts from Hehai Road in the west and ends at Haidi Road in the southeast and Hongguang Avenue in the north, with a planned area of 8 square kilometers. 1. Distinctive industrial characteristics. Around the town, more than 200,000 mu of standardized seawater circulation breeding area and nearly 100,000 mu of ecological salt pond have been built, with distinctive industrial characteristics and unique landscape. 2.Obvious advantages in land resources. Over 2,000 mu land has been set aside for construction and over 5,000 mu unused land is reserved in the town area. The infrastructure of the town area is complete, thus the project can be quickly implemented. 3. Extraordinary tourism resources. Located on the north of the Yellow River Delta National Nature Reserve, the town has an original ecological coastline extending more than 10 kilometers and a coastal soil ecological wetland on the east. The Hongtan Wetland Tourism Resort has been put into operation, which has successfully held 10 consecutive "China Kenli Sea-picking Tourism Festival" and received more than 400,000 tourists annually. 4. Abundant special local resources. Hongguang Fishing Port is located in the town area, the surrounding area of which is rich in coastal shellfish and neritic shrimps, crabs and fish. It is a national shellfish resource conservation area and an important fishery pasture in Bohai Sea. There are many kinds of marine products, such as the Yellow River Estuary Saury, the Yellow River Estuary Chinese mitten crab and dried small shrimps, providing product support for tourism consumption. 5. Unique fishery cultural experience. There are two fishing ports in the area, namely Hongguang and Xiaodaohe.
