The project gives full play to Shaozhuang Town's advantages in time-honored Qi culture and unspoiled ecology resources and integrates a series of scenic spots such as Queshan Mountain, Heishan Mountain, Huanglong Mountain, Wangjianian Ancient Village and Xuejiayu Village through overall layout and planning. Centered on Shaozhuang Town, the protective ancient village restoration project takes carrying forward Chinese auspicious culture as the main line and pursues high-standard development of industries such as ecological agriculture, traditional Chinese medicine and health care, and leisure tourism. In this way, the organic integration of primary, secondary and tertiary industries and the organic combination of production, living, ecology and life science can be ensured, and an example of new comprehensive pastoral health care area themed Chinese auspicious culture and combining living, business, travel and elderly care is set.

Market Potential

By virtue of the longstanding Qi Dynasty heritage and diverse ecological resources, the project will highlight distinctive cultural and tourist attractions such as Wangjianian ancient village, tassel tree forest in Qingzhou, and Heishan red silk stone. An overall plan will be rolled out to develop tourist sites into discovery journey of ancient Chinese culture and thus boosting local cultural and tourist industries. Once completed, the project is expected to add RMB 10 billion to the local GDP, provide 20,000 new jobs for residents in surrounding villages and towns, and contribute RMB 200 billion revenues to relevant industries.

Advantages

Qingzhou City boasts well-developed transportation. Specifically, there are Qingdao-Jinan Railway and Qingdao-Jinan High-Speed Railway; Qingzhou North Railway Station has 29 pairs of passenger trains, making it one of the county-level stations passed through by most bullet trains in China; and the National Highway 309 and the Provincial Highway 352 also pass through the city. Therefore, Qingzhou City enjoys convenient transportation and other obvious advantages brought by superior geographical location.

Implement the investment promotion policies of Weifang and Qingzhou. The leadership will evaluate major projects that drive economic development of the whole city and exert wide influence on the development zone carefully on a case-by-base basis.
