Dongjiakou Chemical Industry Park is the first harbor chemical industry park in Qingdao, and also the only chemical industry park in the province that can leverage a deep water ports. On September 29, 2018, it was officially approved by the Shandong Provincial People’s Government, and the approved area is 13.78 square kilometers. There are large chemical enterprises in the park, such as Qingdao Haijing Chemical Co., Ltd., Qingdao Jinneng New materials Co., Ltd., which produce polyethylene, propylene and other chemical products.
By 2025, the park will reach the most advanced level in China in terms of energy conservation, environmental protection, comprehensive management and comprehensive utilization. By 2035, the green development level of the park will reach the world’s leading level.
It enjoys complete infrastructure, and all facilities for water supply, drainage, power supply, gas supply, heat supply, strong electricity, weak electricity and sewage treatment, etc. are ready. It is the only chemical industry park in the province that can leverage a deep water ports.

High-end chemical industry
Relying on overseas resources of light hydrocarbon and taking the green development of chemical industry as the theme, Dongjiakou Chemical Industry Park will be built as a new chemical industry base dominated by high-end petrochemical products, focusing on developing projects such as olefin production from light raw materials, new chemical materials, high-end chemicals and special chemicals.
