Recently, the Information Office of the Shandong Provincial People's Government held a press conference to introduce Shandong's continued efforts to ensure the construction of projects and optimize the business environment in the field of engineering construction. In recent years, Shandong has seen an increasingly larger number of users in industries such as water, electricity, gas, heating and communications that cover a larger area. To adapt to these characteristics, Shandong has carried out a series of service activities to handle affairs in a high-quality and integrated manner. Specifically, these activities include on-the-spot policy interpretation, knowledge dissemination and problem solving and integrating online services, places that offer relevant services, and pipeline reconstruction works.

In 2024, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of Shandong Province will continue to optimize municipal public service modes, broaden the areas of services, and extend the service chains. Shandong will focus on integration and efficiency and further promote the standardization, normalization and integration of municipal public services; focus on data empowerment and improve interconnection, application of the same-origin policy in information, and data sharing between municipal public utility enterprise systems and engineering construction, project approval, government service and other systems; focus on improving the quality of services and establish and optimize systems such as first inquiry accountability, giving notification at one time, and handling within a specified period of time, strengthen the training of personnel providing services in the front line, cultivate versatile personnel, and encourage the provision of personalized services such as helping or representing others to handle relevant affairs and appointment.
