In recent years, Shandong has accelerated the integration of digital technology and the real economy. It ranks among the top in China regarding various indices such as industrial digitization and manufacturing digitization transformation indices. With "industrial brain+" as the driving force, Shandong has made a key leap from resources to assets in terms of industrial big data.

It is understood that Shandong has successively fostered 32 provincial-level "industrial brains" for a wide range and a large number of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to explore new data-driven service-oriented manufacturing models. This year, the upgrading of "industrial brain" development will accelerate the formation of "industrial brains" with outstanding economic benefits and rich data resources.

Shandong promotes the development of "industrial brains" and "digital economic headquarters" as a whole, mainly serving centralized procurement and digital transformation. According to relevant data, the first batch of 32 provincial-level "industrial brains" have served 49,500 enterprises, including 2,582 enterprises above the designated size and 539 specialized, fined, peculiar, and new enterprises. In March this year, Shandong will launch an open competition for the establishment of the second batch of "industrial brains". By orderly promoting the development of "industrial brains" in key industries, Shandong will gradually establish industrial economic brains.
