On September 12, the 2023 China's Top 500 Private Enterprises Summit and Conference on Excellent and Strong Private Enterprises in China Contributing to Shandong's Green, Low-carbon and High-quality Development kicked off in Jinan. Sponsored by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Shandong Provincial People's Government, the activity aims to guide private enterprises to develop an accurate understanding of the situation and make positive contributions to Shandong's green, low-carbon and high-quality development.

During the activity, the list of 2023 China's Top 500 Private Enterprises was released. Shandong has 52 private enterprises on the list, ranking third nationwide. In addition, the lists of the Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises in China and the Top 100 Service Enterprises in China and the research analysis report on China's Top 500 Private Enterprises were released; a project signing ceremony was held to promote Jinan Start-up Area for Growth Drivers Transformation; four parallel special activities were held, i.e. development of advanced manufacturing, private enterprises contributing to rural revitalization, private enterprises contributing to forming a new cooperation ecosystem for industrial integration in the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area, and innovative development of chambers of commerce with Chinese characteristics.
