The 2nd Shandong Summit Forum on Sports-Public Health Integration was held online from December 18 to 19. Under the theme of "Sports-Public Health Integration for Promotion of Health", it aims to fully implement the guiding principles of the Healthy China 2030 Outline and Outline for Building a Leading Sports Nation, promote the integration of sports and public health at a faster pace, exchange advanced experience in this regard, and explore the establishment of a "Shandong Model" for the sports-public health integration.

The forum was co-sponsored by the Shandong Administration of Sports and Health Commission of Shandong Province and undertaken by the Shandong Research Center of Sports Science, First Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University, Shandong Sports Industry Development Service Center, Research Hospital Association of Shandong Province, and the Shandong Research Institute of Integration of Sports and Public Health. The following leaders attended and addressed the opening ceremony: Wang Qiang, member of the Leading Party Members' Group and deputy director-general of Shandong Administration of Sports; Zhang Lixiang, member of the Leading Party Members' Group and deputy director of Health Commission of Shandong Province; Hu Sanyuan, director of First Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University.

In his speech, Zhang Lixiang invited people from all walks of life to actively contribute to the integration of sports and public health and deeply participate in the medical care and health industry in Shandong Province. He hoped that health departments at all levels would take the integration of sports and public health as an important part of the construction of Healthy Shandong Province and cooperate with sports departments, to jointly advance the rapid and healthy development of the sports-public health integration.
